Lana Guess Thompson, PHR (Certified Professional in Human Resources), CPBA (Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst) is an organizational consultant, training designer & professional facilitator and personal coach.

Lana focuses on improving processes, teamwork, communications, leadership, customer service, and personal effectiveness in the workplace.

In addition to organizational consulting and one-on-one & group coaching, she has developed and facilitated numerous customized workshops, team buildings and Partnering sessions to set common goals, solve problems, and improve productivity, communications, and personal & organizational effectiveness in the workplace.

One of Lana's specialties is to facilitate "Partnering" sessions world-wide for multi-million dollar projects for clients such as the US State Department, Federal Bureau of Prisons, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force and US Army, plus numerous private companies, for improved project success.

Lana has served over 150 clients nationally and internationally, including Southern Company and its subsidiaries such as Alabama Power & Georgia Power, KBR, Inc., Clark Construction, URS Construction, Mortenson Construction, Mercedes-Benz US International, Voith, Griffin Electric, Siemen's, CMC Steel, States of Missouri and Illinois - Division of Family and Human Services, United Defense, plus numerous city, county, state and federal organizations, just to name a few clients among the 150 plus. She has worked coast to coast in the USA, as well as in the Middle East, Germany and Croatia. Her wide variety of clients and experience helps her bring a depth of knowledge and wisdom to her work.

Lana graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Communication Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is active in and has served on the Board of Directors of three professional organizations in the Birmingham area: Birmingham Society of Human Resource Management; Greater Birmingham Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development and the International Coach Federation - North and Central Alabama Chapter.
